Willow Stars Workshop

You will soon be feeling festive with this BRAND-NEW willow workshop, crafting three super-duper willow stars, each made using different techniques.

Join us for this creative workshop and make three very different willow stars to decorate your home with this festive season. Your beautiful willow stars, each measuring an impressive 50cm across, will be perfect for hanging on a wall or on your front door, as an alternative to a wreath, you could even add lights! They would make fabulous gifts too.

During your day, you will have the opportunity to make ALL of these (as pictured):
~ Simple Rod Star - using chunky rods to create a geometric style star
~ Swedish Star – using two different colours of willow, producing an intricate weaved star
~ Pine cone-filled Star – starting with a star outline and a weaved base, you will attach pine cones within your weaving to produce a pine cone-filled star

The workshop will run from 10am until 4pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and the materials to make all three stars will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day.
