Lino Printed Christmas Cards and Wrap Workshop

We have added a festive twist to our regular Lino Printing Workshop, to fully prepare you for the card writing and gift giving season! Join us for an enjoyable day exploring the world of lino cutting and printing, and create a collection of bespoke Christmas cards and wrap.

Lino printing is the traditional form of block printing and has many uses. The process is surprisingly relaxing, and no drawing skills are required, just the keenness to enjoy learning a new skill.

Using our templates or your own designs, you will have the opportunity to create up to 4 different lino cuts. Our knowledgeable tutor will guide you all the way; showing you the safest way to carve your lino, offering top tips to get the best prints, and helping you create your wrap. By the end of the day, you will head home with at least 10 x cards and 2 x sheets of wrap - and of course your lino cuts, so you can continue to print more at home if you wish.

This workshop is designed to be a relaxed and friendly day for beginners. Your day will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm. All materials and equipment will be provided, including an apron for you to wear during the workshop. As with all our workshops, there will be a pause for a ploughman-style lunch, which is also provided.
