Fascinator Making Workshop

Fascinator Making Workshop

Following the success of our more traditional Millinery Workshop, we are delighted to now be inviting you to join us to make your very own fascinator.

This will be a creative and in-depth workshop where you will learn the art of making a fascinator that best suits you. With guidance from your experienced tutor, you will design and make a bespoke fascinator, to wear with confidence and pride.

Your fascinator will be made from sinamay, a natural fabric from the abaca plant. Using a 'button' base, you will be shown how to create a sculptural design with added details, putting into practice techniques you will have been shown during the day. A variety of button sizes and sinamay colours will be available to choose from, along with an array of flowers and other trimmings. If you have trimmings you are keen to use, you are welcome to bring these along.

Your day will start at 10.00am and will conclude by 4.30pm, and we will pause for a ploughman-style lunch partway through the day. Your lunch and all the materials to complete your fascinator will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during the day. It is worth noting that there will be some hand stitching involved to complete your design.

So, whether you are attending a wedding, heading to a glamorous party or simply enjoy arriving in style, join us for this 'fascinating' workshop first!

Places on this workshop are limited to 8.
